Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

My father bought my kids very nice bunk beds he paid for them and then told me and my kids to get out he is bi polar but he gave me the reciept and check stappled together saying paid for and told me to keep it for when I get a place of my own my kids can have there bunk beds and he also told me to keep it to cause if something were to brake there are life time warranty on them so I have it but he wanted me to get my stuff out of his house the house I was born and grew up in and I finally have a place and asked for my kids beds and he told me you can't have them they stay here for the kids but he wants and has nothing to do with my kids or me he said to there face no sleep overs and wanted me to get them out but I don't know what to do I have the reciept he gave me for the beds sorry long story short is I have every right to get my kids beds right cause why if he didn't give it to me would I have the reciept and paid for check he lives alone the beds never get used and my kids need there beds
