Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

health ins.and of joint debt

My divorce was final in 1999 My divorce agreement says, The husband shall continue to cover the wife under his family medical insurance plan. If there is an additional expence to maintain the wife's coverage after the divorce, the wife shall be responsible for its payment. There was no added expence after the divorce but now just this short time later he is getting remarried and plans to put her on the Ins.(she already has her own ins.) That will leave me with a 250 dollar a month payment. I am on disability and his alimony which is my only source of income. I am below the poverty level and he earns a substancial salary and has probably had a raise since. His fiance also has a high income. Is this final. I can go back for more alimony but what are my chances

of getting more. Also how much will this cost

Next It says he shall be responsible for joint debts that he put on the financial statement. He put all the loans (which I cosigned) For my daughters colledge on this statement .She is having trouble paying and the institutions are calling and sending me letters for it. Is this contempt for him. Can I take care of matters togather. What is my best course of action. If any. Thank you Please reply as soon as you can.

Re: health ins.and of joint debt

If you below poverty level, you should consult legal aid and ask for them to represent you. If you are under the poverty level, this is a basis for a modification of alimony. I suggest that you consult a lawyer.
