First, you will need to establish whether Maine or Massachusetts is the appropriate state for you to file in.

Secondly, you are allowed to file a modification on your own behalf and without legal representation, although it is not recommended.

Lastly, it is not clear what you mean when you say your agreement is outdated. In order to modify your child support order/agreement, you will need to prove some sort of significant change.
