Protecting money from divorce or other sources.

How can I protect money from an inheritence.So that spouse cannot freeze those assets in case of divorce or other leagal action? or where is the best place to put that money where it is not subject to legal action from spouse or other source?

There is no guaranteed way to protect money from a spouse. Massachusetts has an equitable division statute for property division. This means that a judge can control inheritances and control money that was improperly transferred away from the marriage. There are about twenty factors for a judge to consider in property division.
