Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

Ex-boyfriend's Unregistered and Uninsured Dead Auto on my property

Hello, My Ex-boyfriend and daughters father who I have a restraining order against has had his old rotted Jaguar sitting dead in my driveway for 7 years now (unregistered and uninsured). Over the past year and a half I have asked him to remove the Jaguar but he has ignored my request. He has said that I can not get rid of it or he will take me to court. I have had many tow truck company’s just stop by my house and ask if they could take the junk car away with no cost to me. It makes my property look like a junk yard and it is also blocking my water spout for my hose and I have to climb over the Jag to turn the spout on & off and I have almost fallen twice because it is slippery when wet.

Since it is on my property can I have it removed legally? Can I send him a certified letter giving him a reasonable date to have it removed by and if he doesn't then have it removed without getting in trouble?

You need to advise the ex-boyfriend that you are having the junk removed within thirty days, one way or anothe, unless he comes to pick it up. It would be useful if this notification came from an attorney, adding weight to the letter.

I would be happy to consult with you further on this. Please feel free to review my web page regarding sliding scale fees.
