I and my wife just got married. My wife is not U.S citizen she holds H1-B visa. I would like to apply her documents for Green card application. Also I want to get professional honest lawyer who will take care this issue as soon as possible. Please let me know what documents should I provide and where.
Thank you,

Before I can assist you, I need to know whether you are a greencard holder or a US citizen. Either way, the current processing timeframes are about 5 months. However, this does not mean that your wife will have her greencard in her hand in 5 months. This is just an estimate for the processing of the paperwork. No one can give you an exact timeframe as your wife will have to undergo security/name checks which can take months or years in some cases.

Hi,
If you are a U.S. citizen, all sponsorship paperwork including the immigrant petition and adjustment of status can be filed concurrently: www.h1b1.com/Uscitizen.htm
If you are a permanent resident, the family sponsorship category is F2A. In this instance only the immigrant petition can be filed at this time, but according to current projections in a few months the priority date will be current and then adjustment of status application can be filed: www.h1b1.com/sponsor.htm
Immigration law is federal law and is the same throughout the U.S. Please call our law firm at 212-268-3580 during business hours, or email [email protected] for guidance that is suitable to your situation.
