Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

my husband and i went for our interview last year on march 26th was told by officer that our case needed to be review further. haven't heard from immigration is this normal. we'll be married 2 years on Oct. 31st

If this was an interview for adjustment of status (green card as a spouse of a US citizen), then it's not normal. One of the possibilities is that the case was referred to the Fraud Investigation Unit. You or your attorney should inquire about the status of the pending application with the local USCIS office.
