Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

I was an over-stayed illegal immigrant until I was granted my green card last september, 2009, through my marriage with an American citizen. My intention is to help my other family members get that green card. Would it help them being here until I claim them together with my citizenship, or they can actually go back to Costa Rica without delaying the process?
