I got my permanent green card through marriage and I would like to get divorce, is that going to affect my legal status somehow?

Yes, it might. If you have a conditional green card, you will need to apply to remove conditions from residence after divorce by yourself. If you have a permanent green card, then a divorce shouldn't affect your status.
