Legal Question in Insurance Law in Massachusetts

I live in the Northeast where roofs are collapsing at an alarming rate. I need to get the snow off my roof, am not able to do it myself, and not able to find a roofing company to do it as they are booked out forever. I do have interest from some local contractors that work for roofing companies and want to do my roof for some side money, after their day job.

The problem is none of these people have contractors insurance. To make this work so my roof doesn't collapse but at the same time I am not opening myself up to a huge liability if this person falls and hurts themselves, is there a waiver that I could have them sign, absolving me from any injuried they might incur? I plan to have this sone today so if someone can please help me figure out the right thing to do, I would greatly appreciate it.

Problem.

A waiver will not help.

You need a licensed company with insurance or you will be on the hook!
