Legal Question in Insurance Law in Massachusetts
This month I lend my car to a person I did not know very well. She allowed someone else to drive my car. The other person had an accident. I am not able to rich her since on the day of the accident she was leaving the country so dont have information on the driver. The police contacted me trying to investigate who was the driver, but I wasnt able to provide any information. The accident was very minor few scratches for both cars. My insurance company tells me that the will charge me with this accident! Is that legal? What can I do if the driver cannot be found? Can they put the charges under my driver license? Can I dispute their decision?

Something stinks! Explain the situation to the police and let them investigate.
