Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts
Ice chunks fell from my rental house roof and landed on my car and damaged my windshield and hood. My auto insurance will cover the damages but require me to pay deductible. My landlords homeowers insurance company came to inspect the car and said the landlord was not responsible for the damage because he did not know about the ice on the roof. Is my landlord obligated to help pay for the damage to my car. I live in Natick Massachusetts.
