Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts
My son and daughter live in Waltham and their apartment has bed bugs. They found out that the bugs existed in that unit before they arrived. The place was treated but not all of the neighboring apts. They have had 3 treatments and the bugs are still there. The health inspector visited. They are afraid of moving and bringing bugs with them elsewhere. They want to break the lease and collect for damages. Who is the expert in this area?
