Legal Question in Mediation in Massachusetts
promisary not to pay back debts
I recently let my ex boyfriend borrow $580.00. I made him sign a promisary note or an ''iou'' for 400.00 of the money. does this cover me legally in getting this money back? I heard that if hes made to pay the money back, that he would have to pay all my legal fees as well. Is that true? I appreciate your time!

Re: promisary not to pay back debts
Whether or your debtor will be required to pay your attorney fees depends upon what was agreed to in your contract.
