Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

condo association

Is it possible to set up a condo association myself using a covenants, conditions and restrictions agreement? If so, where do I get those forms?

Re: condo association

It is not just agreements, you need plans and there are some very technical things that have to be done to create a condominium association and file a master deed.

Generally, the legal costs for a small condo association a duplex, triplex, or four family are not prohibitive.

Re: condo association

While it is certainly possibly to do it yourself, it is not recommended. A master deed and by laws also needs to be completed. There is not a place to get these forms.
