Legal Question in Workers Comp in Massachusetts

I had an injury at work over one year ago. I haven't missed time but have had several medical procedures covered by them. They have started calling my employer and asking (assistant managers) questions regarding the status of my injury, my work habits, and medical procedures. Are they allowed to ask my employer in detail about these things?
