Garnishment on bank account
I received a notice of garnishment against my bank account for $2300. (which was in the account). The total of the entire judgement against me is $58,124.00. What else can they go after of mine?

There are many things, and some which are exempt. Its too much for an online opinion, but you can visit me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz

They can go after almost any asset that you have including your wages from your job. There are, however, limits on the amount of your salary that they can garnish pursuant to Michigan law.
