need a new/replacement motorcycle title issued
There is a motorcycle that was sold at an insurance auction in CA. I want to buy it. The current/new owner does not have the title, only the sales agreement/slip. How (or can I) do I get a title for the bike?

Go to the california department of motor vehicles and get a copy of a form for lost or stolen titles and followthe procedure therein. Please be cautious, the bike may be stolen. This happens all of the time at auctions.
