Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
abandoned web site
I purchased a domain after it was sold and abandoned the site no longer exists can i legally use items from the old site specifically terms of use and privacy policy since I am putting up a similiar site both forms fit with some minor adjustments such as name location etc. can I use that information without violating any copyright or any other laws?

Simply because a person/company has abandoned their materials does not mean that you can use their information legally. The answer to your question depends on whether the website contents were copyrighted or are otherwise protected - it may say on that on the website. If not, err on the side of caution and create your own contents.
