Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
Commissions
I was an ''Authorized Retailer'' of a national cellular company. I sold my entire business, entity sale, lock, stock and barrell. With the help of an employee of the national cellular company, the buyer of my business was able to redirect my last two months commissions checks to themselves. Even though these commission checks were dated after the sale of the business, they were commissions of sales months before the sale of the business. Is this right? Are the entitled to these commissions?

Re: Commissions
The answer to this lies in the agreement you signed to sell your business and in the contract that you had with the national cellular company. I cannot comment further without reading the agreements.
