Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
lawsuit
I have been named with my husband's corporation in a lawsuit where his corporation is now in bankruptcy. I never did business with either company, and I have not personally signed any checks or ordered anything from this company. Am I liable, and can I sue because of the fact I am not an active member of the corporation. I have always had an outside this company's preview full tiime job and I don't fell that since I didn't make the bill I am not responsible. I want to sue for them envading my privacy and claiming I am responsible. Can I?

Without seeing the documents, my guess is no.
Re: lawsuit
your best bet is to hire a lawyer to get you dismissed out of the lawsuit, if in fact you are not personally responsible for anything. if you are dismissed, you can ask for attorney fees and costs, but there is no guarantee the judge will grant them.
you likely do not have a cause of action against them for suing you, other than sanctions for them filing a frivolous lawsuit (which again, is a determination made by the court).
I would have to review the complaint filed against you, see what the alleged basis is for naming you in the suit - and whether there is any merit to the argument, and then meet with you to go over the facts before providing a thorough opinion on your chances of getting dismissed out of the lawsuit.
Please contact me if you'd like to set up a meeting.
Thanks.
