regarding small claims court
I was filing suit against a former client
in small claims court. They have now
retained a lawyer. What are my
options?

Re: regarding small claims court
The general rule is that a lawyer cannot operate in small claims court. However, they may have the matter removed to a district court where they can represent clients.
