regarding statutes on pay

I am a contractor and had worked for another contractor who did not pay me in 2004 is it to late for me to bring him to court to get my money or is the statute of limitations up?

In the state of Michigan the statute of limitations for a breach of contract is six years. You can obtain payment from him.
