Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

My daughter was terminated from her job. Let me say what she did. She brought a friend to hang out at her her job, she have herself employee discounts on meal she purchased for the entire family and have a drink she didn't finish to her friend. As an employer myself I can I believe all she did was wrong. The only issue for me is that everyone there does this including the managers. Everyone else just takes the food, she thought she was being fare by atleast paying half off it. She was told that due to the fact she was never given an employee hand book and the company rules were never discussed with her she was going to be put on a 2 month probation and if she did anything else she would be fired. The owner began monitoring her from his camera at home, he told the other employees to watch her, he told her she could no longer touch the till, he would call her at work to ask her "what were you doing around the corner?" He would come into the store and sit across from her and just watch her for long periods of time. He would speak to the other employees and not her. One day picking her up from work as she was in tears over how she was being treated, my husband confronted him and told him she was being harassed by him and he needs to stop. He kicked my husband who was not violent at all out of the store (it was caught on camera). This was later on the same day that he told her she would be placed on a two month promotion and that the manager would discuss her right up with her the next time she works. This was Christmas Eve. They were closed Christmas Day so she never even got the chance to mess up. The day after Christmas she was handed her right up saying she was on a two month probation and then her termination papers saying her services was no longer needed. Which that same day he pulled employee from another store to fill her spot and within a few days he had hired someone else. The manager apologized to my daughter and told her she thought he was wrong for firing her and if she could do something she would but she needs her job too. She agrees that my daughter was just doing what everyone else was doing. I just believe what happened to her was wrong. She was a great employee other than that. She was made a key holder within a month of working their because she was serve safe certified. She was made a key holder but given no raise of pay but she appreciated the job and figured at 18 years old she had to build her self up to hire pay. I just feel she was treated wrong. Am I right and what can I do in the state of michigan?

Nothing can be done here. She was an at will employee and can be fired for any reason or none at all. She can also quit at any time. The law will only step in if a law is being broken, like discrimination based on race, religion, etc.

This story does not contain any illegal reasons that I see. Sorry there is nothing that can be done, but the law is unfair in this regard.
