Should I tell the other sides' Lawyer

A construction company I work for recently had an accidental death. I

was responsible for working with our attorney & insurance people.

Our firm was requested to supply certain reports that should have been

done - but were not.

My owner told me to produce them and submit them. I argued, he got

very confrontational and I did as I was told.

I resigned hours later (2 days ago). these reports directly relate to

whether the existing structure is safe.

I want to inform the enginer of record, the city and the Plantiffs Lawyer

so that proper testing on the structure is done to ensure the structure is

safe. If I decide to talk, what trouble can I get in.

Unless you are under some type of confidentiality agreement because of your employment you are under no obligation to keep the information quiet. Make sure that it cannot be seen as a vandetta on your part because of the fallout with your employer. Sice I don't know all the facts of the case, I cannot comment any further.
