Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Bought a motorcycle
I just bought a motorcycle yesterday. The guy I bought it off of claimed that it was in the shop last week and everything was in good condition. I bought the bike and realized the speedometer wasnt working so I took it into the shop he said he had taken the bike to. They say that bike has never ever been their. They also have said that their are repairs that need to be done immediatly. I bought this bike thinking that no repairs had to be done. Is it possible to go after this guy who sold it to me? It was bought in cash.

Re: Bought a motorcycle
Nope, not really.
It was your responsibility to check it out before you bought it. He had no obligation to tell you the truth.
