Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
Consumer protection
I contacted Sears for a price match via email and they agreed to match a price. Now that I have the item, they charged me the full price and say they won't honor the price match. Is an email binding.

Re: Consumer protection
If the email shows an AGREEMENT as you say it does, then YES, it is binding (barring any other facts that you haven't disclosed, such as a time limitation on the price match agreement, etc). Draft a letter to Sears, enclosing a copy of the email, asking for a credit for the difference.
