Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan
fraud?
We purchased a door kit over the internet, the wrong kit was sent, now can not get in contact with the company. Left several emails and voicemails with no return calls or emails. Paid for item with credit card, want to send it back and get money back.

Re: fraud?
Depending on how recently you made this purchase, you may be able to reverse this charge through your credit card holder. Contact them right away and tell them what has happened and ask them what procedures you need to follow in order to get this charge reversed from your statement. Most likely, they'll require you to write a letter describing the transaction and include a copy of the statement bearing the charge. If you don't get satisfaction through these channels you are probably looking at a certain level of difficulty getting a hold of a company that isn't responding to your attempts to get satisfaction from them. Good luck.
