How can I return my settlement payments back to me after I have over paid a company.

I am not sure I understand your question. If you over paid then you should probably write a letter telling the company that information and explaining how and why you did so. Send that first-class and certified mail return receipt. If they don't pay then hire a lawyer. If you over paid pursuant to a settlement for a judgment then that is a different story.
