Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Hi. My name is Brett. I have been divorced for almost a year now. It has not been pretty. My ex has taken out insurance for the children without my knowledge and the insurance company is billing me for this. My ex has also signed up my daughter for clarinet lessons and, yes I have the bill as well.

My question is, am I legally responsible for the payments? I never agreed to them nor did I have any prior knowledge until I started getting phone calls and bills. I would also like to know what type of letter I can send to the attorneys.
