collections

I'm going to retire in about six months. I want to know if any of my credit card debts can attatch my retirement check if I can't make payments?

No, craditors cannot simply take your retirement.

However, if the card companies get a judgment against you, they can ask the court to garnish your bank accounts and reach your savings that way.
