Tell them to put their issue in writing to you so that you can investigate the merits of their claims. Ask them for their name, address, telephone and fax numbers. Tell them you are and will be recording their calls for record keeping purposes (and record the calls). Tell them that you will hold them accountable for their violations of the Michigan and federal fair debt collection practices acts.
