Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Work cash advance

I was recently terminated from work, becuase I was not allowed a leave of abcense. When I left I owed money to my ex-employer from cash advances. Due to the fact that I am out of work I am able to pay tha back. My ex-employer is demanding full payment. I fully intend to, but I can't at this point. What steps can I take to protect myself? What steps might they take to force me to pay back?

Thank in advance for your answer.

Re: Work cash advance

Your best bet is to apply for unemployment and use that money to pay back your employer.
