expungment
In 2004,after a very nasty divorce,I plead to a misdemeanor stalking charge.Do to the fact of being financially broke.It has caused me higher paying jobs because of background checks.How long and is it possible to have this removed or sealed?.

Search the Michigan Crimminal Law database of past Q&As for posts regarding expungment or "setting aside a conviction". There are dozens of them.
You'll see that you have to wait 5 or more years after your sentencing date, or the date you got off probation, or the date you got out of jail ... whichever is later ... before you can apply to set aside a conviction. Based on your question, you will have to wait until at least 2009, and possibly longer if court juridiction continued into 2005 or 2006.
