legal help

my ex is blackmailing me for 1500-2000 dollars in 24hrs for windows smashed in her car or she will call the cops. it wasnt me . i priced them at 800 dollars also one of her friend is to say they say me do it. Should i give her the money since i allready have five old fellonies or do I press charges for blackmail against ? I have voicemails of the demands for money

People would save a lot of time, trouble, and money once they realized that no one in their right mind EVER calls on the law to settle personal relationship problems such as the one in your post.

You already know in your bones that YOU will be the one who'll likely wind up in jail if you try to press charges.

The simple way out is to pay and then keep away from her.
