In case a person is not able to pay the fine. Is the person's spouse or his children liable to pay the fine?

Re: liability
No. Only the criminal defendant is liable for payment of fines, costs, etc. But, a wilful refusal to pay the money by the defendant, when the defendant has a reasonable ability to pay, can result in a probation violation and re-sentencing on the original crime.
