Depending on the kind of misdemeanor, and the time elapsed since the conviction, if this is the only thing on your record you could file a motion for an expungement. I have done this for my clients often.

The misdemeanor conviction stays on your record for life unless it is expunged. We'd be happy to discuss this expungement process with you if you phone our office on Monday.
