Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
retail fraud, not guilty
I am in the process of being charged with retail fraud, third degree in Michigan. i honestly am not guilty. The proof by which i am being charged is survelience. An LPO enterd a fitting room after i had left and stated that what i brough in was not in the fitting room when i left. The cops came to my house and searched my car, and myself, finding nothing. What is my next step? I know i will need a lawyer, but how do i prove that i am innocent?
