Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Teen Nudists on the Internet

I am an adult who would like to start an internet forum that would allow teens to discuss the nudist lifestyle. The purpose of my presence would be to ensure a safe environment for teens to talk and to protect them from internet predators to the best of my abiblity. Is there anything illegal about me providing an online forum of this nature for teens and possibly answering questions for them. Under no circumstance would I ever consider meeting with a child nor would I allow them to participate if I knew their parent objected.

Without knowing exactly what was being posted in the forum it is impossible to say whether your proposed activity would be deemed illegal, but it is safe to say that from your description, you are describing potentially illegal activity. If this is a non-profit forum, you are engaging in very risky activity which could land you in jail. It really doesn't seem advisable. If it is for profit, you should hire a lawyer before engaging in this activity.

Bad idea. What would you call it? www.neverlandranch.com? If this is not a joke, even if it might not be illegal, it smells funny, and would be ripe for making you a target of civil lawsuits. Now if you did a sight for adults (those over the age of 18) well you'd probably be fine, but from what my email spam box shows every day, you might have some competition.
