Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I threw a party about a month and a half ago, 22 kids were charged with MIPS, I was not. I did not submit myself to a personal breathalizer test because I am a minor, 16, and I know I did not have too. About two weeks later they sent me a letter charging me with an MIP. I attended my first court date, and pleaded non-guilty. I am now on bond until my next date, March 11th. I know that there is a way to get out of this, but I'm not exaclty sure how. I would like some advice on how to proceed.
