Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
I just turned 19, and I am dating a 16 year old girl who is on probation. One morning she called me and said she was going to be late for school, so i told her I would give her a ride. She convinced me we were already late for first hour, and that she was going to get in trouble for violating probation. So I made an idiot move, and tried to act as her uncle over the phone and excuse her. We obviously got caught, and now aparently i can get in trouble for assisting in breaking her probationary terms. What is there to do?

Probably nothing. Be polite and patient when you all go to court.
When you get to court, plead not guilty and then carefully listen to what is told to you.
If you don't understand or don't agree with the offer, get a lawyer. The court can appoint one for you if you can't afford your own.
