Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Went on vacation to a small town, got arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of medication without prescription, released the same day on bond. Never received or was notified by mail or verbally of arraignment date. First notice I received was a letter from the court saying my bond has been revoked and a warrant for my arrest will be issued because of failure to appear for arraignment, I never received an arraignment notice. Has a clerical error occurred here, what is my next step?
