Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Michigan

age and looks

I just started a job a week ago and was told I was doing well when I happened to be checking out the want ads and saw that they had advertised to hire for the same position I was hired for.

I can understand them wanting to replace me for poor job performance but I do not believe that is the case since the ad reads-

Experienced Hottie Bartender Day shift

Daytime clientel for Irish Tavern wants a Hot Hot Bartender, will offer a guarenteed salary. Personality a must, the sky is the limit to the earnings.

I was not offered a guaranteed anything and want to know if replacing me because they do not think I am hot enough is legal?

Re: age and looks

Yes, it does not violate the laws of Michigan or Federal law because the discrimination is not based on sex. Looks and personality are not protected classes, therefore no case. Maybe they are adding to the staff and not looking to terminate you? Good luck, Tim Klisz
