My son, who just turned 18, had been out with his girlfriend and she drank way too much and was really sick, and he was scared for her so he called 911, police told him he did the right thing in calling, she went to hospital and the police also gave him a breath o lizer, he blew a .04...now has a MIP and court date..some friends said that he shouldn't have gotten a ticket since he called 911 and that there is a law in Michigan that if a minor calls for help that they wouldn't get ticketed, that this law was placed in order to get teens to call instead of taking a risk of someone getting hurt. My question is, is this a true law?
