Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Age which a child can choose
I have a daughter that is turning 14 in September. She was stated that she wants to live with me and not with her mother because of mistreatment. She has an older sister that is 15 and wishes to stay with mom. At what age can a child choose to live with the other parent?

Re: Age which a child can choose
At age 18 the child can make her own decision. Otherwise, the judge will decide.
