charge cards whos responsible
If a woman has a charge card and its in her name, accquired during their marriage.... Is the husband responsible for this debt if they divorce?

They can argue about it. He may or may not be responsible, depending upon what the card was used for. For example, if the card was used to purchase groceries for the kids, it will be a marital debt and he will bear some or all of the responsibility. If the card was used to pay for a motel room for the woman and her boyfriend, he will not be responsible for that bill. Simply because an item (car, etc) is in the name of only one spouse, does not mean that it is not marital property.
