Child Support Guidelines
I would like to know what the Michigan guidelines are for child support for 2 children. The children live with me. They spend 2 over nights a week with the other parent. His net income is 3800/monthly. Mine is $2170/Monthly. Can you provide this information?

To accurately figure the support amount, you need additional figures. Are those monthly figures net or gross? The child support guidelines use net monthly figures. Does the non-custodial parent pay support for other children? How many, and was the support ordered before or after your children?
Using the figures you provide, the support would be $676 per week. But, other factors would adjust that figure. If you want to see how taxes and other factors would adjust the amount, you can use the support calculator at http://www.divorcehq.com/calculators/mi_supportcalc.shtml. This is NOT exact, but it is something to go by to see if your support is in the right �ballpark.�
