Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

dropping divorce proceedings

If your divorce will be final in one week....Is it more costly to stop the divorce at this point... Or just go thru with the divorce and remarry afterwards?? I guess what I want to know if its going to cost more to stop the divorce..It was a simple no arguement divorce..

Living all to the other partner..Only the house to divided upon sale if sold or returned upon death..

There is no cost to stop a divorce in Michigan. Have the attoirney of the moving party (plaintiff) simply withdraw the pleadings. It would be better to do this rather than go through with the divorce and remarry. Good luck.
