Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Father lies for year
The biological father of my child signed an affadavit and was added to birth certificate in march 2007 one month after son's birth. When we met 1 year ago on an adult singles site he said he was divorced and had not had sex with anyone for the past 18 months. I got pregnant we remained datiing. He was at birth, put son on insurance even named him. In May we got into a slight argument ending with make-up sex and his saying he wanted to remain mutually sexually exclusive and that he had not been with anyone since he met me. We had talked about having more kids someday. Yesterday I found instant message he had with over a dozen people men, women, couples with graphic descriptions of many sexual escapades going on from the 6 months before we met, throughout our relationship and even as recent as last friday night b4 i was to visit with baby 4 weekend. I found out yesterday and i printed an online chat he had with a male sex partner both sex and chat were within past week. He grossly misrepresented himself to me this entire time I never believed he was bisexual, . I never would have had unprotected sex with him had he been upfront about his life. Now I do not trust him at all and he has life ins. on my baby. Can I terminate his right?

No, that is not a basis to terminate his parental rights.

No, but you should contact an experienced family law attorney to file a custody and parenting time complaint as well as a request for child support.
