Where would one find law students who would be willing to help with research on a custody case where you are representing yourself?

Finding research

Representing yourself in a custody case???? Hmmm. OK, if you're looking for some students to help with research, contact a medical school and see where they direct people that want students to help them research how to do surgery on themselves. Maybe those same students feel like you do - - - - that is to say perhaps they don't understand that they're incompetent to practice surgery and also incompetent to practice law.

Re: Finding research

Chances are you are going to strike out on getting law students to do any research for you. They are simply too busy and unless they do it under the auspices of some organization, stand the risk of practicing law without a license and messing up their chances of being a lawyer. What exactly is your problem? What research do you think needs to be done. Chances are you are off on a tangent that is not going to do you any good. You would be better off getting a good family law lawyer and if you cannot afford it, going through an organization that may assist you. There are many good lawyers who are not expensive. It usually is a matter of priorities.....where you put your money. William S. Stern
